The temporary closure began this week as temple authorities take measures to preserve and strengthen the idol and renovate parts of the sanctum to ensure long-term structural safety and cultural continuity.

Located in one of Pune’s oldest neighbourhoods, the Shri Kasba Ganpati Temple is one of the city’s most iconic and historically significant places of worship.
