Smriti Mandhana emerged as WPL 2026’s top run-scorer to win the Orange Cap, while Sophie Devine claimed the Purple Cap as Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted the title in Vadodara.

Vadodara | February 06,2026: Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Smriti Mandhana etched her name into the record books after finishing as the leading run-scorer of the Women’s Premier League 2026 season, earning the prestigious Orange Cap. Mandhana accumulated 377 runs across nine innings, becoming the first Indian batter to achieve the feat in the tournament’s history.

Mandhana’s consistency at the top of the order played a decisive role in RCB’s successful campaign. She delivered crucial performances throughout the season, including a commanding innings in the final against Delhi Capitals, guiding her team to a six-wicket victory and their maiden WPL title. Her leadership and batting form were widely seen as the cornerstone of RCB’s championship run.

The Purple Cap for the season went to New Zealand all-rounder Sophie Devine, who finished as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker. Devine claimed 17 wickets during the campaign, consistently providing breakthroughs and controlling the flow of runs with disciplined spells. Her contributions with the ball complemented her all-round presence for RCB during the season.
