Maharashtra | November 29, 2025: The Women’s Premier League (WPL) is back with its fourth season. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially released the full schedule, confirming that the league will run from 9 January to 5 February 2026.

All matches will be played across two venues  DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai and Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara. The tournament kicks off at DY Patil Stadium where defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).

The first leg of the league (January 9–17) will be held in Navi Mumbai, featuring league-stage matches. The second leg shifts to Vadodara from January 19 onwards, culminating in the final match on 5 February.

This edition follows a “caravan model,” ensuring all teams play across both venues rather than a home-and-away format. The 22-match season includes league games, playoffs and the grand finale.

WPL’s early-year slot  ahead of the men’s T20 World Cup starting February 7  ensures undivided attention on women’s cricket. Fans across India are now gearing up for a fast-paced, competitive season starting next month.
