Yamkeshwar, Uttarakhand, India | February 07, 2026: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath returned to the site of his old school in Uttarakhand on Friday to inaugurate its newly constructed ₹2 crore building, celebrating both the institution’s upgrade and his personal connection to the place.

The event in Yamkeshwar, nestled in the Pauri Garhwal region, brought together political leaders including Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who joined Adityanath on stage. Both leaders participated in traditional rituals at a nearby temple before the formal ceremony.

Addressing the gathering, Adityanath emphasized the significance of strong educational infrastructure and its role in shaping students’ lives, urging that schools go beyond mere academics to foster cultural and moral values.
