Mumbai | 26 November 2025: Tata Motors has officially launched the all-new 2025 Tata Sierra, reviving the iconic nameplate with a contemporary twist. The SUV is priced aggressively at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹11.49 lakh, targeting the mid-size SUV segment.

Built on Tata’s ARGOS platform, the Sierra combines a rugged, boxy design with modern technology and premium interiors. On the exterior, the SUV features a full-width LED light bar, flush door handles, and a floating black roof, while the cabin offers a TheatrePro triple-screen layout (12.3″ + 12.3″ + 10.25″), panoramic sunroof, and soft-touch surfaces to create a “living room on wheels” experience.

The Sierra comes with three engine options: 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (160 bhp), 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel, paired with manual, dual-clutch, and automatic transmissions. Safety has been prioritized with Level-2 ADAS featuring 20+ systems, six airbags, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree camera. Tata also conducted a 50 km/h head-on crash test to benchmark safety performance.

Bookings open December 16, 2025, with deliveries starting January 15, 2026. The Sierra will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara, aiming to establish Tata’s presence firmly in the mid-size SUV segment while appealing to buyers seeking luxury, technology, and rugged performance in one package.
