Kolhapur | December 10, 2025:The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has officially postponed the Group-B Combined Preliminary Examination originally scheduled for December 21, 2025, after municipal election results coincided with the exam date. The decision was taken to prevent logistical and administrative conflicts, as the elections require large-scale deployment of security personnel, administrative staff, and other essential resources necessary for smooth conduct of the examination.

Thousands of aspirants preparing for the MPSC Group-B exam, which serves as a gateway to various state government administrative positions, now need to adjust their preparation schedules.
