Editor Manvir Jasrotia was honoured with the National Award for Best Editing in the Non-Feature Film category, highlighting the film’s compelling narrative and technical excellence.

The documentary pays tribute to the remarkable 75-year journey of the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, India’s premier tri-services military training institution. Through a combination of archival footage, historical documentation and cinematic storytelling, the film chronicles the Academy’s evolution from its establishment into one of the world’s most respected military academies. It also showcases the NDA’s contribution to producing generations of officers who have served the Indian Armed Forces with distinction.

Directed by Tanuj Bhatia and Tanuka Laghate, and written by Mudgha Kalra, the documentary captures the traditions, discipline, leadership and enduring values that define the Academy. Manvir Jasrotia’s editing played a crucial role in weaving together decades of history into a cohesive and emotionally engaging narrative, earning him one of Indian cinema’s highest honours.
