K-Nest Construction Tech Expands Into DeepTech With Indigenous Automation Solutions

K-Nest Construction Tech enters the DeepTech space with indigenous automation solutions, including robotics, 3D printing and advanced construction technologies.

Pune: K-Nest Construction Tech has expanded its technology portfolio into the DeepTech construction space, introducing a range of indigenous solutions focused on automation, robotics, precision sensing and human-machine collaboration at construction sites.

The company’s expanded portfolio includes construction robotics, 3D construction printing, human-augmentation systems, precision digital sensors and automated high-rise construction technologies. The move marks K-Nest’s transition from being primarily a construction systems manufacturer to a construction technology company focused on technology-driven solutions for physical job sites.

New Technologies for Construction Sites

One of the areas being explored by K-Nest is 3D concrete and construction printing. These digitally controlled additive manufacturing systems are designed to bring greater automation directly into construction processes.

The company is also developing autonomous inspection and quality-assessment robots. These mobile systems can scan built environments and compare actual site installations with Building Information Modeling (BIM) designs, helping identify differences between planned and executed work.

Another part of the portfolio involves industrial and construction exoskeletons. These wearable systems are designed to support workers during physically demanding construction activities, with the aim of reducing fatigue and enhancing physical capability.

K-Nest is also working on precision digital sensing systems. These include alignment sensors that can monitor formwork positioning in real time, along with integrated anemometers designed to track wind speeds and support operating limits for high-rise screens.

The company’s portfolio further includes self-climbing safety screens and jump-form systems, bringing mechanisation and automation to conventional formwork and high-rise construction activities.

Focus on Indigenous Technology

K-Nest founder and CMD Nitin Mittal said the company aims to develop advanced construction technology within India rather than relying entirely on imported solutions.

He said the focus is on building engineering capabilities, research and development and indigenous intellectual property that can support the next generation of construction technology in India and potentially serve global markets.

Ashish Agarwal, Co-Founder and CEO of K-Nest Construction Tech, said the company’s DeepTech approach involves solving complex physical-world problems through the integration of mechanical engineering, robotics, hydraulics, electronics, software and construction-site expertise.

According to Agarwal, the objective is to develop technology that is not only advanced but also practical, reliable and suitable for deployment on active construction sites.

Expanding Construction Technology Capabilities

Prashant Agarwal, Co-Founder of K-Nest Construction Tech and Founder of K-Nest 3D Build Tech, is spearheading the company’s DeepTech initiative.

He highlighted the growing adoption of automation across Indian industry and pointed to increasing investments in robotics, sensors and connected technologies as manufacturing and infrastructure activity expands.

K-Nest’s latest expansion places greater emphasis on developing indigenous construction technologies and building capabilities that can potentially position India as both a developer and exporter of advanced construction solutions.

The company has also associated former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid with the brand as its brand ambassador.
