Bentley India Accelerates Expansion Strategy Following India–UK Free Trade Agreement

Bentley has unveiled a more aggressive India roadmap aligned with evolving trade dynamics and a new retail structure.

April 15, 2026 | Mumbai The luxury carmaker is positioning itself for stronger growth in India following the India–UK Free Trade Agreement, which is expected to ease trade barriers and improve market accessibility for premium automotive brands. As part of its strategy, Bentley has introduced a new National Sales Company (NSC) structure to streamline operations and enhance brand consistency across the country. The company has also partnered with three dealer groups to strengthen its retail footprint, ensuring wider reach in key metropolitan luxury markets. A major focus of the restructuring is pricing transparency, with Bentley working toward a clearly defined Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and a strict one-price policy across all dealerships to eliminate regional price variations.

Industry observers note that the move reflects a broader shift in the luxury automobile segment, where brands are increasingly prioritising customer trust, uniform pricing, and direct engagement models over fragmented dealership practices. In addition to retail restructuring, Bentley has launched a centralised communication initiative aimed at reconnecting with existing owners. The programme is designed to improve customer engagement, strengthen after-sales relationships, and reinforce brand loyalty in a competitive luxury segment.

The company’s renewed focus on India comes amid rising demand for high-end vehicles, driven by growing wealth creation and aspirational consumer behaviour in urban markets. With improved trade conditions and a more structured sales approach, Bentley is expected to expand its footprint more strategically over the coming years. Analysts suggest that this combined approach of policy alignment, pricing discipline, and customer engagement could position Bentley more strongly in India’s evolving luxury automotive landscape.
