Chargesheet filed against Sheetal Tejwani in Koregaon Park land scam

The Economic Offences Wing filed a 1,886-page chargesheet against Sheetal Tejwani in the Koregaon Park land irregularities case, with investigations against other accused continuing.

Pune | 03 February, 2026:The Economic Offences Wing has submitted a 1,886-page chargesheet against Sheetal Tejwani in the Koregaon Park land scam case, police officials confirmed. Sheetal Tejwani is the main accused in the alleged irregularities involving 40 acres of land in Mundhwa.

The case also names Parth Pawar, director of Amedia Company, along with Digvijay Patil, suspended Tehsildar Suryakant Yewale, and Hemant Gavande. Police collected evidence and recorded statements from Tejwani after conducting continuous interrogations over two days. The investigation also included reviewing documents from various government departments, which indicated Tejwani’s involvement in the irregular land transactions.

The land involved had 275 heirs, and ownership had been transferred to Tejwani through legal documents. The case has drawn significant attention in Pune due to the scale of the land irregularities and the involvement of multiple government and private officials.

Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar stated that investigations against the other accused are ongoing, and chargesheets will be filed against them soon. The chargesheet was filed in the court by Inspector Ajay Waghmare and his team.

Authorities are continuing to gather evidence, and the investigation by the Economic Offences Wing remains active, with further legal proceedings expected in the coming weeks.
