Bharat Forge expands collaboration with Rolls-Royce to manufacture fan blades for Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines, boosting India’s aerospace supply chain and supporting next-generation business jet propulsion systems.

Pune|October 18, 2025: Bharat Forge Ltd has deepened its collaboration with British aerospace giant Rolls-Royce to manufacture and supply fan blades for the company’s Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines. The agreement, formalized at Rolls-Royce’s Dahlewitz facility in Germany, highlights the increasing role of Indian manufacturers in global aerospace programs.

This expanded partnership builds on earlier cooperation that began in 2020, with Bharat Forge delivering its first zero-defect fan blade for the Pearl 700 engine in 2024. Under the new agreement, the company will supply critical components for the Pearl 10X, Rolls-Royce’s latest and most advanced engine, designed for high-end business jets such as the Bombardier Global 5500/6500, Gulfstream G700/G800, and Dassault Falcon 10X.

The move is part of Rolls-Royce’s strategy to diversify and strengthen its supply chain by sourcing more components from India, with plans to double local sourcing by 2030. For Bharat Forge, this partnership represents a significant opportunity to establish itself as a key player in the global aerospace supply chain while advancing India’s manufacturing capabilities in high-precision engineering.

Industry experts note that producing fan blades for next-generation engines requires stringent quality control, advanced materials, and precision engineering, reflecting the trust Rolls-Royce places in Bharat Forge. The collaboration also aligns with India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, promoting indigenous manufacturing for critical technology sectors.
