Pune, October 09, 2025: A disturbing incident has come to light in Jaipur, where a German woman, Julia, and her Indian husband, Uttam Sharma, allegedly faced a violent mob attack by neighbours after a dispute involving their pet dog. The confrontation escalated rapidly—windows and doors were smashed, stones were hurled, and attempts were made to force entry into their home.
Julia and Uttam say the conflict began after neighbours accused their dog of defecating in common areas and not being cleaned up promptly. While the couple maintain that they always cleaned up after their pet, tensions flared, and a crowd gathered outside their residence. Videos shared online show a large group stomping around the property, banging on walls, and shouting. During the attack, the mob is said to have smashed the CCTV cameras, snatched phones, and vandalised the front entrance.
