Maharashtra CET Cell Announces Entrance Exam Schedule for 2026–27 Academic Year
Over 12 lakh students have registered for various entrance examinations scheduled between March 24 and May 17 for seven professional courses including LLB, B.Ed., and M.Ed., the Maharashtra CET Cell announced.
Mumbai | March 14, 2026: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has announced the schedule for several entrance examinations for the academic year 2026-27, covering admissions to a range of professional and education-related courses. According to the official announcement, the entrance examinations will begin on March 24 and continue until May 17 across multiple examination centres.
The CET Cell will conduct entrance tests for seven different courses, including programmes such as LLB, B.Ed., B.P.Ed., M.Ed., and M.P.Ed., which attract a large number of candidates every year. These examinations play a crucial role in determining admissions to various professional colleges and universities across Maharashtra.Officials said that preparations for the examination process are currently underway, with arrangements being made to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the tests. The entrance examinations will be conducted in a computer-based format at designated centres, allowing candidates to appear for the tests in a structured and standardised environment.
So far, more than 12 lakh students have registered for the CET examinations this year, reflecting the high demand for professional and teacher education courses in the state. Authorities expect a large turnout of candidates during the examination period, as students compete for limited seats in reputed institutions.The CET Cell has advised candidates to regularly check the official website for detailed schedules, admit card updates and other important instructions related to the examinations. Students have also been urged to carefully follow all guidelines issued by the authorities to avoid inconvenience during the examination process
