The “Beat The Heat” campaign by Majestique Landmarks expanded its reach across Pune, distributing refreshing beverages to traffic police, delivery executives, and commuters to combat the city’s rising summer temperatures.

May 7, 2026 | PUNE: As a relentless heatwave continues to grip the region, Majestique Landmarks has intensified its corporate social responsibility efforts through its flagship initiative, BADLAAV. The ongoing “Beat The Heat” campaign entered its second high-impact day, focusing on providing immediate physical relief to those whose professions require them to remain outdoors during peak sunlight hours. Volunteers from the Majestique Group organized large-scale distribution drives at several of the city’s busiest intersections, including Senapati Bapat Road, Baner-Balewadi Chowk, and the Kalewadi Chowk in Pimpri-Chinchwad.
The drive specifically targeted the “unsung heroes” of the city traffic police personnel, PMPML bus staff, delivery partners, and street vendors who face the brunt of soaring temperatures for extended shifts. By distributing chilled lemonade and traditional kokum juice, the initiative offered more than just hydration; it provided a much-needed cooling respite for hundreds of citizens navigating the extreme weather. Beyond the workforce, senior citizens and daily commuters also benefited from the refreshment points set up by the volunteer teams.

Organizers noted that the public response has been overwhelmingly positive, with many citizens expressing gratitude for the timely intervention. The campaign has also gained significant traction on social media, prompting local residents to participate in or support the cause.

Representatives from Majestique Landmarks emphasized that while the primary goal is to mitigate the physical toll of the heat, the broader objective is to foster a sense of community resilience and shared social responsibility. By leading this volunteer-driven engagement, the group aims to inspire other corporate entities and individuals to contribute to the city’s welfare during challenging climatic conditions. The “Beat The Heat” drive stands as a testament to the impact of localized, direct action in improving the day-to-day lives of the city’s most exposed residents.
