Modern Study Center for Competitive Exams Inaugurated in Mira-Bhayandar by Minister Pratap Sarnayak

Maharashtra Minister Pratap Sarnayak launches a state-of-the-art Study Center at Balasaheb Thackeray Art Gallery in Mira-Bhayandar for MPSC, UPSC, IAS, and other exam aspirants.

In a historic step for students of Mira-Bhayandar, Maharashtra’s Transport Minister Pratap Sarnayak has launched a modern Study Center at the Late Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Art Gallery. The facility has been specially designed for aspirants preparing for competitive examinations such as MPSC, UPSC, IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, and IFoS, giving students access to world-class study resources close to home.

The newly inaugurated Study Center provides state-of-the-art amenities including a quiet study hall, a digital library with internet access, designated sections for guidance sessions, and mentorship by experienced officers and faculty. To ensure a comfortable and motivating environment, the center has air-conditioned study rooms and a secure, disciplined setup for long study hours.

Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Pratap Sarnayak said, “There is no shortage of talent in Mira-Bhayandar, but lack of facilities often forces students to travel to cities like Mumbai or Pune for preparation. This Study Center will change that. It will not only provide a space to study but also build confidence, direction, and opportunity for our young aspirants.”

Local students and parents have welcomed this initiative wholeheartedly, calling it a “transformational step” for the region. Several social organizations have also praised the move, noting that it will create a stronger educational foundation and encourage more youth to pursue careers in civil services.

The initiative aligns with the Maharashtra government’s broader vision of promoting equal educational opportunities for students across both urban and rural areas.
