Pune | October 17, 2025: Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has made a significant personal decision ahead of his upcoming Australia tour. Kohli has handed over the General Power of Attorney (GPA) for his luxurious Gurugram property, worth over ₹80 crore, to his elder brother Vikas Kohli.
According to reports, the decision allows Vikas to manage, maintain, and make financial or legal decisions regarding the property located in DLF City Phase 1. Virat, who spends most of his time abroad with his wife Anushka Sharma and their children, chose to delegate the responsibility to ensure smooth management in his absence.

The cricketer had purchased the lavish house in 2021. The residence, known for its modern architecture and prime location, adds to Kohli’s impressive real estate portfolio, which reportedly exceeds ₹100 crore in total value.
This move reflects Kohli’s family-oriented mindset and practical approach toward managing his growing assets. Fans have appreciated the gesture, calling it a perfect blend of trust, family bonding, and responsibility before embarking on another international tour.
