April 17, 2026 | Pimpri-Chinchwad In a significant development, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Education Department has identified 10 English medium schools operating without official authorization, raising serious concerns about student safety and academic validity. The department has issued a public advisory urging parents to exercise caution and verify the legal status of schools before enrolling their children.

According to officials, these institutions have been functioning without the mandatory recognition certificates required under education norms. Authorities have warned that admissions in such schools could put students’ academic future at risk, including issues related to certification, curriculum validity, and further education prospects.

The list of unauthorized schools includes institutions located across key areas such as Tathawade, Chinchwad, Kasarwadi, Kalewadi, Charholi, Wakad, and Moshi. The identified schools are:

1] Blooming Birds in Tathawade
2] Little Star English School in Chinchwadgaon
3] Mount Everest English School in Kasarwadi
4] DMK International School in Kasarwadi
5] Mane English Medium School in Kalewadi
6] Nurture International School in Choli
7] Mindworld International School in Charholi
8] Hem’s International School in Wakad
9] Catalyst International School in Choli Phata
10] Galaxy International School in Moshi

Education officials emphasized that parents must check the recognition certificate issued by the competent authority before finalizing admissions. They also reiterated that negligence in this regard could lead to long-term academic complications for students. The PCMC has assured that strict action will be taken against institutions found violating norms.
