Residents of these districts have been warned about possible thunderstorms and heavy showers, and they have been advised to take necessary precautions.
The alert continues on October 24, affecting Mumbai city, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Palghar, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Nashik, Dhule, Nandurbar, Ahmednagar, Buldhana, Washim, Beed, Dharashiv, Latur, Chandrapur, Nagpur, and Wardha. Authorities have emphasized preparedness for heavy rainfall, which could cause localized waterlogging, road traffic disruption, and other weather-related hazards.
On October 25, districts such as Sangli, Solapur, Dhule, Nandurbar, Amravati, Akola, Buldhana, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Dharashiv, Jalna, and Beed have also been issued yellow alerts.
