He described the Indian Air Force (IAF) as technologically advanced, operationally agile, strategically confident, and future-oriented, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding national interests in today’s evolving global security environment.
Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted the speed, precision, and courage with which the IAF neutralised terror camps during the operation and effectively managed Pakistan’s “irresponsible reaction” afterwards. Commanders were urged to learn from Operation Sindoor and remain ready for future challenges.

The conclave also focused on defence modernisation and self-reliance initiatives. Shri Rajnath Singh underlined the government’s commitment to indigenous jet engines, private sector collaboration, and programmes like iDEX and ADITI that involve startups and MSMEs in defence manufacturing. As of November 2025, 672 winners emerged from 565 iDEX challenges, including 96 related to IAF innovations.
Operation Sindoor was cited as an example of Tri-service synergy, reinforcing the importance of jointness in defence operations.
