Maharashtra students gain major relief as state scraps yearly scholarship applications after first year, introducing auto-renewal alongside school safety upgrades and Sainik stipend hikes.

Mumbai | : Thursday, March 19, 2026: In a landmark move to ease student burdens, Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat announced automatic renewal of scholarships from the second year onward for central and state schemes.
