Doha, Qatar : March 20, 2026 The strikes, which damaged key infrastructure despite interceptions of most projectiles, mark Tehran’s reprisal for an Israeli assault on the adjacent South Pars gas field the planet’s largest natural gas reserve shared with Qatar’s North Field. QatarEnergy confirmed extensive harm, evacuations, and zero casualties, but output at the facility, which supplies 20% of global LNG, remains paralyzed.

Iran extended its barrage with drones and missiles to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, hitting refineries, Aramco sites, and U.S. financial-military hubs, causing at least six deaths and over 100 injuries.
