NEW DELHI | May 28, 2026: In a reflective ceremony held at the Ministry of Defence, Joint Secretary and Chief Administrative Officer Shri Amitabh Prasad paid an official visit to the Chief of Defence Staff and Secretary of the Department of Military Affairs, General Anil Chauhan. The high-level delegation included the Commanding Officer, the Chief Security Officer of the Ministry of Defence, and active personnel representing the Defence Headquarters Security Troops, assembling to honor the topmost military commander’s decorated trajectory.

The convergence served as a bridge between the present leadership and the institutional history of the armed forces. During the meeting, the delegation presented General Chauhan with a nostalgic, custom-crafted memento. The token specifically commemorates his foundational years of service from 1991 to 1993, a period during which he served as the Adjutant for the DHQ Security Troops.
