Pune Entrepreneur Rajkumar Dhakne Initiates Acquisition of Hawker 800A Through Government Auction
Pune: Young entrepreneur Rajkumar Dhakne has initiated the acquisition of a Hawker 800A business jet through the Government of India’s public auction conducted by MSTC Ltd. on behalf of the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The aircraft had previously been seized by the ED under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and was auctioned in the agency’s first-ever public sale of a seized aircraft.
The Hawker 800A is a midsize twin-engine corporate jet that typically accommodates eight passengers, offers a range of nearly 2,500 nautical miles, and is widely regarded as one of the most reliable aircraft in its class.
The acquisition marks a significant milestone for Dhakne, placing him among a select group of Indian entrepreneurs associated with private business aviation. It also reflects the growing aspirations of young business leaders who are expanding their presence through strategic investments and transparent government auction processes.
