Shivvandana Mitra Parivar distributed school kits to 320 children of housemaids in Dhayari, honoring Shivrajyabhishek Din and Ahilyabai Holkar Jayanti, ensuring education access for underprivileged students
Pune | July 2, 2025: In a heartfelt gesture blending culture with compassion, Shivvandana Mitra Parivar distributed free educational kits to 320 school-going children of women working as housemaids and domestic workers in the Dhayari area of Pune.
The event was held on the occasion of Shivrajyabhishek Din and the 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar, both significant days of inspiration and leadership in Indian history.
Despite talent and determination, many students from underprivileged backgrounds struggle to continue their education due to financial hardships. Acknowledging this reality, Shivvandana Mitra Parivar stepped forward with this impactful initiative to ensure that no child is left behind due to a lack of basic school supplies.
The initiative received generous support from Smaran Electric Corporation and was graced by dignitaries including: MLA Bhimrao Anna Tapkir (Khadakwasla Constituency),Vaibhav Deshmukh, Yashwant Laigude, Avadhoot Joshi, Ganesh Nangre, Ashatai Benkar, Laxmi Kadam, Nilesh Mankar, Sandeep Khirid, Founder Praj Bhilare and others
Speaking at the event, Mr. Praj Bhilare, founder of Shivvandana said:
“This effort is our tribute to all working mothers who silently carry the burden of their households. Their children deserve every opportunity to succeed. We want to eliminate the barriers to education.”
