ICAI Releases CA Exam Schedule for September-November 2026 Cycle, Applications Open July 6

ICAI of India has announced the September-November 2026 CA exam schedule, with Foundation exams starting September 2 and Final exams from November 2, applications opening July 6.

May 4, 2026 | New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has officially announced the examination schedule for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) September–November 2026 cycle, offering clarity to thousands of aspirants preparing for the prestigious qualification. As per the released timetable, CA Foundation examinations will commence on September 2 and continue across multiple dates in the first week of the month. The Intermediate examinations will follow a phased format in early September, while the Final examinations are scheduled to begin on November 2, extending into the second week of November.

The announcement also confirms that the application process for all three levels Foundation, Intermediate, and Final will open on July 6. Candidates will be required to complete their registration and submit examination forms within the prescribed timeline through the official ICAI portal.

Officials stated that the structured scheduling aims to ensure smooth conduct of examinations while providing adequate preparation time for candidates. The staggered format is expected to help manage logistics across multiple exam centres nationwide and maintain examination integrity.

The CA examinations, regarded among the most challenging professional courses in India, attract a large number of candidates each cycle. With the schedule now in place, students are being advised to align their study plans strategically and keep track of important deadlines to avoid last-minute complications. Education experts have noted that early clarity on exam dates allows aspirants to better manage revision cycles and focus on performance.
