Strange ‘Aghori’ Ritual Shocks Ingli Village in Kolhapur

Kolhapur | October 23, 2025: Residents of Ingli village in Kolhapur were startled by a disturbing ritual discovered in the middle of a road near the village. Early on Tuesday, a piece of animal heart tied in white cloth was found placed on the roadway. Surrounding it were offerings including kumkuma (vermilion), turmeric, lemons, bananas, and cut banana tree parts — items commonly used in occult rituals.

The ritual appears to be of an “Aghori” nature — a form of occult practice in certain local superstitious traditions. Villagers say the act unfolded during Diwali-time and left many uneasy.

News of the event sparked concern and fear locally. The police have been informed and an investigation is expected, though few details about suspects or motives are available yet.

Authorities are yet to clarify whether the ritual was symbolic, threatening, or simply intended to unsettle people. Locals are calling for answers, and many are urging prompt action so fear in the community does not deepen.
