The case has drawn attention not only because of the educational background of the accused but also due to the sophisticated methods used to grow and manage illegal narcotics within a residential complex.

According to investigators, the accused had transformed a rented flat into a controlled indoor cultivation unit, using artificial intelligence-based monitoring systems to regulate temperature, humidity, lighting, and nutrient supply. These systems allowed the marijuana plants to grow in optimal conditions without constant human intervention, enabling faster growth cycles and higher yields. The variety being cultivated was reportedly a high-potency strain popular in illegal markets, making the operation both profitable and difficult to detect.
