KavitaKAFE presents ‘Khamoshiyaan’ on March 29 at Monalisa Kalagram, Pune-an evening of poetry, music, and emotions.
Pune | 21 March, 2026: In a celebration of words, silence, and artistic expression, Pune-based poetry collective KavitaKAFE is set to host its much-anticipated poetry event Khamoshiyaan on March 29. The event will take place at Monalisa Kalagram from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, promising an immersive literary experience where emotions resonate as deeply as spoken verse.
Known for its commitment to promoting Hindi literature, KavitaKAFE has steadily built a thriving community of poets, readers, and cultural enthusiasts in Pune. Through its initiative “Kitaabon se mulaqaat, shabdon se baat,” the collective has previously organized engaging discussions around works by Manav Kaul and the iconic Hindi epic Rashmirathi by Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, reinforcing its role as a catalyst for meaningful literary dialogue.
The upcoming event Khamoshiyaan will feature a diverse lineup of poets including Devika Nadig, Ravi Acharya, Keshava Shukla, Surbhi Jain, Shahbaaz Khan, Gayatri, Bobby Mittal, Dhruv Jalota, Ragini More, Surabhii Aplesh, Ashwini Kulkarni, Devanshi Patel, Vinay Gadgil, Ashish D Gharpure, and Salil Jain. Enhancing the evening further, musicians Anupam Banerjee and Omkar Zanjote will blend music with poetry, creating a layered and emotive atmosphere.

Reflecting on the significance of the date, Garima Mishra, founder of KavitaKAFE, shared that March 29 marks a special milestone for the group. It was on this day last year that the collective launched its social initiative Healing Verses at Vrindavan Old-Age Home. Over the past year, the initiative has reached institutions such as Aaji Care, QMTI, Poona Blind School, and Cipla Palliative Care, using poetry as a medium to connect with people in deeply meaningful ways.
Lisa Pingale, founder of Monalisa Kalagram, highlighted the growing cultural impact of such gatherings, noting that KavitaKAFE’s sessions have transformed the venue into a vibrant hub where art, literature, and human emotions intersect seamlessly.
Adding to the experience, this month’s session is supported by Tales and Spirits, which will sponsor refreshments for attendees, making the evening both soulful and enjoyable.
As the sun sets on a Sunday evening, Khamoshiyaan invites audiences to pause, reflect, and immerse themselves in a world where silence and words coexist beautifully. The event promises not just performances, but an emotional journey-reminding us that sometimes, the most profound conversations are felt rather than spoken.
