Belgium-based TVH, a global leader in parts and accessories for material handling, industrial, construction and agricultural equipment, has announced a significant expansion of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune by adding 150 new seats. The expansion increases the facility’s overall capacity to 400 employees, underlining the company’s long-term commitment to strengthening its technology and digital operations from India.

The expanded office, located at Phoenix Fountainhead in Pune, will support a wide range of global functions including technology, engineering, digital products, enterprise technology, data analytics, digital transformation and business support services. The facility is also expected to enhance collaboration with TVH’s teams across Europe, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region, enabling faster innovation and improved operational efficiency.

The latest investment reflects TVH’s confidence in Pune’s robust technology ecosystem, skilled workforce and world-class business infrastructure. The city has increasingly become a preferred destination for multinational corporations establishing and expanding Global Capability Centres, driven by its strong engineering talent, quality educational institutions and competitive business environment.

Commenting on the expansion, Rajani said India continues to play a strategic role in TVH’s global operations, with the Pune Global Capability Centre supporting critical capabilities across technology, engineering, data and digital transformation. The company views the expansion as part of its long-term strategy to strengthen these capabilities through continued investments in infrastructure, talent and a collaborative workplace.

The expansion is also expected to generate additional high-skilled employment opportunities in software engineering, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data science, enterprise applications, digital products and corporate support functions. Industry observers believe the move further strengthens Pune’s reputation as one of India’s fastest-growing GCC destinations, alongside other major technology centres.

With multinational companies continuing to invest in advanced technology operations across India, TVH’s latest expansion adds another milestone to Pune’s emergence as a globally recognised hub for innovation, engineering excellence and digital transformation, contributing to the city’s growing role in the international business services landscape.
