PMPML announces two Navratri temple-tour routes in AC electric buses for ₹500 per person, departing Pune Station at 8:30 am and returning by 7 pm.

PUNE: Devotees planning to visit goddess temples during Navratri can make use of special tourism bus services announced by the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML). The services will operate in fully air-conditioned electric buses, with tickets priced at ₹500 per passenger for each route.

According to the transport undertaking, the tours will be available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Services may also operate on other days depending on passenger demand.

Two Special Temple Tour Routes

PMPML has announced two itineraries under Tourism Bus Service No. 13. Both buses will depart from Pune Station at 8:30 am and return to the same location by 7 pm, travelling via Swargate.

Route 1: Temples in and Around Pune District

The first route includes visits to:

  • Taljai Mata Temple
  • Padmavati Temple
  • Tukai Mata Temple at Kondhanpur
  • Shrinath Maskoba Jogeshwari Mata Temple at Kodit in Purandar taluka
  • Yamai Mata Temple at Shivri in Purandar taluka

Route 2: Goddess Temples Across Pune City and Pimpri-Chinchwad

The second route covers:

  • Mahalaxmi Temple at Sarasbaug
  • Tambdi Jogeshwari Temple in Budhwar Peth
  • Chatushrungi Mata Temple
  • Vaishnavi Mata Temple in Pimpri Camp
  • Bhawani Mata Temple in Bhawani Peth

The services are intended to make temple visits more convenient for devotees by connecting several religious destinations in a single-day trip.
