Telugu Actor Bharath Kanth Killed in Tragic Car Accident Near Hyderabad

Budding Telugu actor Bharath Kanth lost his life in a fatal road accident on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road, leaving the Telugu film industry and fans shocked and mourning.

Hyderabad | May 11, 2026: The Telugu film industry was left devastated after actor Bharath Kanth died in a tragic car accident near Hyderabad during the early hours of Sunday. The 31-year-old actor reportedly lost his life after the vehicle he was travelling in rammed into a container truck on the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road near Bongulur and Tukkuguda. Cinematographer G Sai Trilok, who was accompanying him, also died in the accident.

According to preliminary police investigations, the accident occurred around 3:20 am near Exit 12 on the ORR stretch in Ranga Reddy district. Officials suspect overspeeding and possible driver fatigue may have contributed to the collision. Reports stated that Bharath Kanth was driving the car when it crashed into the rear side of the truck ahead. Both victims suffered severe injuries and were declared dead at the scene.

Police personnel and emergency responders reached the location shortly after local commuters alerted authorities about the mangled vehicle. The bodies were shifted to a government hospital for postmortem examination before being handed over to the families. An official investigation has now been launched to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.

Bharath Kanth was considered a rising talent in Telugu cinema and had reportedly worked in films, web series, and digital content projects. Industry colleagues and fans expressed grief on social media, remembering him as a passionate and hardworking performer with a promising future ahead. Sai Trilok was also gaining recognition in the Telugu entertainment industry as a young cinematographer associated with several independent and digital productions.

The tragic incident has once again raised concerns over road safety on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road, where several fatal accidents have been reported in recent years. Members of the Telugu film fraternity and fans continue to pay tribute to the two young artists whose careers ended abruptly in the heartbreaking accident.
