Kolhapur |December 25 2025: From a village of just 450 people in Kolhapur district, Priyanka Patil has written an inspiring story of determination, grit, and achievement by qualifying as a Police Sub‑Inspector (PSI) and earning Maharashtra’s prestigious ‘Revolver of Honor’ award for excellence in police training and service. Her journey is a testament to perseverance against odds and the fulfilment of both personal and family dreams.

Priyanka hails from Jakanhatti, a small settlement where opportunities are limited and resources scarce. Despite these challenges, she pursued her goals with unwavering focus and hard work, driven in part by the memory of her late father, who dreamt of seeing his daughter serve in the police force.
