The incident has created tension in the local area, and following a complaint from the woman’s family, police have registered a case against her husband and two other family members. According to preliminary information, the woman had been living with her husband and in-laws after marriage. However, her relatives claim that she had been subjected to repeated mental harassment and humiliation at her marital home. The family alleges that frequent arguments, emotional abuse and pressure from the in-laws had been affecting her mental well-being for some time.
